Last year, Bollywood’s legendary star Rishi Kapoor died after a two-year battle with leukemia. The actor left behind several loved ones and fans grieving forever.
Remembering the star on his first death anniversary, Kapoor’s family and fans paid tributes for him on social media.
His daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also turned to her Instagram handle and shared a collage of old, adorable childhood snaps with her dad.
Sharing the pictures, she also penned a heartfelt note remembering her father. Riddhima wrote, "If only i could hear you call me mushk once more ...“Until we meet again we think about you always, we talk about you still, you have never been forgotten, and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain, to walk and guide us through our lives, until we meet again.”– Dorothy Mae Cavendish I love you always."
She also shared a note on her Instagram story for her dad and wrote, "Miss you papa."
Kapoor’s wife Neetu Kapoor and son Ranbir Kapoor also organized an virtual ceremony on the occasion of his first death anniversary. Neetu and Ranbir performed the rituals, with the rest of the family joining in virtually, amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
