Prince William and Kate Middleton have broken their silence after King Charles snubbed the Princess of Wales from Women Day’s tribute.

On Saturday, the Buckingham Palace took to its Instagram account to honor the women of royal family on International Women's Day 2025.

The post featured portraits of late Queen Elizabeth II, Queen Camilla, late Queen Victoria, Princess Anne, late Queen Alexandra, and Duchess Sophie.

However, the elder daughter-in-law of King Charles was notably excluded from the post.

Now, an hour after Royal family’s post, the official Instagram account of the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a special tribute to women to mark the occasion.

"Here are just a few of the women who have inspired us in the past 12 months,” Kensington Palace wrote along a collage of inspiring women’s pictures with a meaningful message.

The post also features photos of Kate Middleton from various royal engagements over the past 12 months.
