Actress Evelyn Sharma tied knots with her long-term fiance— an Australia-based dental surgeon Dr Tushaan Bhindi last month in an intimate wedding ceremony in Brisbane, Australia. The wedding was country-styled with only a few guests, and it took place in the mid of May on the 15th.
The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress got engaged to Dr Tushaan in 2019, but the pandemic “slowed down their” wedding plans. However, a year and a half later, the two got married in a beautiful ceremony far from their homeland. Evelyn told a leading daily that she is extremely happy about being a newlywed wife.
“There’s no better feeling than being married to your best friend. We’re so excited about spending our life together,” she shared, adding, “We started our wedding celebrations with a legal ceremony. Of course, we would have loved for our family and friends from around the world to be present, but we know their blessings are always with us.”
Evelyn recently shared pictures from the wedding day on her Instagram, and she simply looked gorgeous in her white wedding dress from Lost in Paris latest collection. She paired it with diamond jewellery and a simple bun. For makeup, she kept her look almost natural with nude shades. The photoshoot is simply breathtaking.
The couple is planning to throw a big, lavish reception party following their intimate wedding. Dr Tushaan explained the reason behind their decision to do a simple wedding. He said,
“In times like this, we did not want to draw a lot of attention to ourselves; we wanted to keep things simple and straightforward. It was time to make our love and commitment official to the world.”
