Cher is reportedly ready to take her relationship with boyfriend Alexander “A.E.” Edwards to the next level as she is eager for him to pop the question.
As per In Touch Weekly, a source shared that the Mask star is planning for a formal engagement and gets hitched soon, but she feels nervous about the new change.
A source said, “Cher and A.E. have had some bumps along the way, but the past year they have been solid as a rock, to the point where she’s started dropping hints that she wants him to
“She’s an old-school romantic,” the source continued, saying that, for her, “the man has to propose, she’s not going to do the asking.”
“It does seem like Alexander is open to the idea though,” the source said
Revealing A.E’s for Cher, the insider stated, “He’s very clear she’s his ‘woman’ and he has called her and his son, Slash, ‘a family.’ He’s very serious about this.”
“A 40-year age gap draws judgement, but Cher won’t entertain it,” the insider revealed, adding, “She’s madly in love and gets upset if anyone questions him or their relationship. She’s ready to go all in.”
To note Cher met A.E. during Paris Fashion Week in 2022 and, but they parted ways briefly in the Spring of 2023.
