LeBron James has opened up about Luka Doncic's ejection during the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder game.

According to The Telegraph, the American professional basketball player accepted that things got “weird as hell” after Donic was ejected from the game on Tuesday night, April 8, 2025, clash.

James said, “It was a weird couple of minutes after that, starting with the ejection. I don't know why the ref was taking it personal. He had already given Luka one, and Luka knew that. Luka was going back and forth at that time with a fan who was sitting courtside, like Luka does when fans talk (expletive).”

“Luka was going back and forth, but the ref took it upon himself to think it was on him. Another T on Vando after a blocked shot, and the game was just weird as hell after that moment,” the 40-year-old added.

Furthermore, during the Lakers brutal 136-120 defeat against the Thunder, Doncic was ejected from the game after the fourth quarter for a technical foul over a heated argument with a fan. He scored 23 points for the team before leaving.

Notably, after a recent ejection, Doncic has 14 technical fouls, which means he is just two fouls away from an automatic suspension during the playoffs.
