Singapore Changi has claimed the crown of the best airport in the world for the record 13th time.

According to CNN, the air transport organisation Skytrax has revealed the name of the world’s best airport for 2025, and no surprise, Singapore has once again taken the top spot.

Changi is not just an airport but a destination in itself. It has introduced early check-ins allowing passengers to drop their bags off up to 48 hours before their flight so that they can enjoy the airport as part of their vacation.

It has the world’s largest indoor waterfall, Rain Vortex, standing 40 metres (about 130 feet) tall, along with a 10-storey Jewel shopping mall, multiple indoor gardens, a butterfly centre, spas, hotels, art exhibitions, a museum, a cinema and even a dinosaur theme park.

Skytrax has recognised the airport, which was visited by around 80 million people in 2024, as a gastronomic wonderland.

Notably, Changi Airport has also won World’s Best Airport Dining, World’s Best Airport Washrooms and Best Airport in Asia awards at the World Airport Awards held in Madrid on April 9, 2025.
