Queen Letizia had a packed day at Zarzuela Palace!

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, April 10, the Royal Family of Spain shared a gallery of photographs from the Queen Consort’s working day at the Palace, leading several key meetings.

Briefing about Letizia’s important engagements, the Palace stated, “Early this morning, the Queen received in audience the promoters of the project "Tejiendo Redes. La lana. Patrimonio en herida" (Weaving Networks. Wool. A Disappearing Heritage), which uses the Madrid Design Festival platform to highlight the situation facing wool in our country.”

After her meeting with the project promotors, Queen Letizia then met representatives from the Brain Advisory Council to present the Spanish Brain Plan, whose objective is to preserve brain health and prevent diseases through research, prevention, care, and monitoring.

The Queen’s working day concluded with a meeting with ANAR Foundation’s officials, which works to fight for children and adolescents’ rights.

“Finally, the Queen met with representatives from the ANAR Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and defending the rights of children and adolescents at risk and in situations of neglect through the development of projects both in Spain and Latin America,” the Royal Family shared.

Queen Letizia’s latest engagements come just two days after she, along with King Felipe, presided over the commemorative event to mark milestone 600th anniversary of the International Day of the Roma People.
