The wait is finally over for the fans of Pakistani celebrity couple Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir as their much-awaited cross-border web-series Dhoop Ki Deewar is all set to premiere on streaming platform ZEE5 on June 25.

Online streaming channel ZEE5 has released the first official poster of much-anticipated Pakistani web series on Wednesday.

Starring the industry’s beloved real-life couple, Ahad and Sajal, the story of the Haseeb Hasan’s directorial revolves around two lovebirds from Pakistan and India in a relationship during a standoff between the nuclear-powered countries.


The Yaqeen Ka Safar famed couple took to their respective Instagram handles and shared the first look of their web series. In the caption, they wrote, “They broke the wall of hatred and revenge, And the pieces formed a new bond of love. Dhoop Ki Deewar. Premieres 25th June on ZEE5.”


The series is written by renowned playwright Umera Ahmad. The poster unveiled by ZEE5 features Ahad and Sajal as Vishal and Sara, representing two sides of the border, and in the background, viewers can see clashes amongst the two nations.


The captions reads, “Kya kismat mein likha hai ek dusre ka saath ya laqeer karegi inke future ka faisla? (Will fate will bring them together or their future will be decided by the border?).”

Earlier, the teasers for the series also took the Internet by storm, in which Ahad and Sajal’s characters raised pertinent questions. The series is promoted with hashtag #HeartOverHate.

Dhoop Ki Deewar features an all-star cast including Samiya Mumtaz, Samina Ahmed, Savera Nadeem and Manzar Sehbai among many others.
