Aishwarya, director Shankar’s daughter, will be tying the knot with cricketer Rohit Damodharan today in a small ceremony at a resort, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister expected to attend the wedding.
As the COVID restrictions stay in place, the gathering will consist of close family members and friends, as only 50 people are allowed to attend.
The resort Mahabalipuram where the ceremony was expected to take place was decorated with flowers.
Aishwarya is a doctor by profession and is getting married to the son of an industrialist, owner of Madurai Panthers. Damodharan is a part of the Tamil Nadu Premier League.
Director Shankar was recently caught up in a fight due to creative differences between him and Lyca Productions. Nevertheless, Shankar was seen trying to keep calm and focus on his daughter’s wedding.
A lavish ceremony will later be held after the pandemic subsides, and will be attended by celebrities from all over the country.
