Steve Martin pays tribute to the deceased legendary actress Diane Keaton a few days after her shocking death.
The Only Murders in the Building star turned to his Instagram handle on Sunday, October 12, to share his work experience with the late actress.
"This playbill is from a 1964 college production of Carousel. Diane “Hall” (Keaton) is the lead; I’m a stage hand," Steve stated in the caption.
He also shared that Diane and Steve had worked together back when they both were studying at Santa Ana College in southern California as acting students.
The 80-year-old American comedian and actor starred as the late actress’s husband in the 1991 film Father of the Bride.
Before sharing his work experience with Diane Keaton, Steve Martin was among several celebrities who paid somber tribute after the actress’s unexpected demise.
The Pink Panther took to his X account to share a black and white photo of Diane with an inspiring quote from her 1977 movie, Annie Hall.
"Loved! ‘La dee da, la dee da," Steve captioned.
This update comes a few days after Diane Keaton died in California on Saturday, October 11, at the age of 79.
At the time, People reported that the actual reason for her death had not been revealed by her family members.
She was survived by her daughter, Dexter and her son, Duke.
