King Charles III and Queen Camilla made a stylish joint appearance in North Wales to mark the historic Maundy Service.
Breaking a longstanding Royal tradition, the 77-year-old monarch and his wife arrived at St Asaph Cathedral on Thursday, April 2, 2026 – where the service is being held for the first time in 800 years.
As per the photos obtained by various outlets and fans pages, Charles looked dapper in a classic black morning coat paired with a waistcoat and striped trousers.
While Camilla turned heads in a navy coat and a matching hat with lace detailing. She added style to her look with a stylish handbag and matching shoes.
As reported by Hello! in recognition of Christian duty and contribution, Charles donated Maundy Money to locals during the hour-long service.
As part of the ritual, the number of the amount handed out by Charles was equal to his age, so he handed out gifts to 77 men and 77 women, each recipient received two purses – one red and one white.
King Charles did not attend the Maundy Service in 2024 as he was just diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer.
This comes just days ahead of Royal Family's reunion at St George's Chapel in Windsor on Sunday for Easter service.
Besides Queen Camilla and King Charles, the Prince and Princess of Wales William and Kate Middleton will also be in attendance.
