Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan are set to return to cinemas with their upcoming film Shaitaan, the teaser of which has been released.
The teaser launch has set the thrill in cinematic experiences ablaze, with various portraits of the devil’s appearance, and Madhavan's intensely chilly dialogue in the background.
His dialogues warn the audience of the movie’s sinister nature, linking it with demons and the path taken by people who are allured.
Commenters are lauding how the Tanu Weds Manu actor has adjusted his vocals’ depth to suit the villainous character he’s playing.
Next, we see a couple of candles, followed by a sign of black magic, which is what the theme of the film is possibly centered on.
The footage then depicts Devgn and actress Jyotika Deshpande in separate frames, gasping for breath out of fear.
Other than these three leads, Abhishek Pathak and Kumar Mangat Pathak will also be starring in the film that's set to release on March 8, 2024.
While this isn’t the first Bollywood production with sinister tones, it is expected to revolve around a unique story since previous ones like Phoonk mostly dealt with ghostly possessions.
Fans are however suspecting that the plot might be heavily borrowed from the 2018 horror Tumbbad.
