
Indian actress and reality star Poonam Pandey has passed away at the age of 32 after a fight with cervical cancer, Indian news media reported this morning, February 2, 2024.
The shocking news was shared by the Lock Upp star’s social media team on her Instagram page in a statement that read, “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer.”
“Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared,” the statement further read.
The saddening news was further confirmed by her manager, who told Zoom that Poonam lost her fight to cervical cancer on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
Poonam debuted in Bollywood with the 2013 film Nasha, going on to star in Bhojpuri and Telugu films, before foraying into reality TV. She appeared on the first season of Lock Upp, and recently rooted for her friend Munawar Faruqui to win Bigg Boss 17.
