Ranveer Singh's reaction to Ranbir Kapoor's mammoth hit Animal has been revealed by the man behind the film, Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
In a chat with Dainik Bhaskar, clips of which have now gone viral on social media, Sandeep claimed that Ranveer was so affected by Animal that he talked to him for 40 minutes after watching the film.
Pinvilla quoted Sandeep saying, "Mein khud soch mein pad gaya, aisa response mila tha Ranveer Singh se (I myself was bewildered when I received such good response from Ranveer Singh.)"
He then went on to share, "He (Ranveer) talked to me on the phone for nearly 40 minutes. And I've read his lengthy message three or four times."
While Sandeep said he can't reveal what Ranveer's message said, but did share that reading it was 'enjoyable'.
"He mentioned a lot of things about Animal that made me realize, "Oh, this is also in my film,"" said the Kabir Singh maker.
The revelations come two months after the film released on December 1, 2023 to commercial success, but tons of negative feedback claiming 'misogynistic' themes.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal is now available to stream on Netflix, and stars Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol in key role apart from Ranbir Kapoor.
