Ranbir Kapoor will reportedly be vocally trained for his upcoming movie Ramayana.
As per India Today, director Nitesh Tiwari wants the actor to sound distinctive as Lord Ram, and so has assigned him a diction expert to practice dialogues with.
The source said that Ranbir has an incredibly unique baritone and delivery style, which has been noted in previous movies, such as Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Rockstar, and even Sanju.
This is why Nitesh is aiming to alter Ranbir’s vocal chords in a way that they stand apart from his characters in older films, so as to align with Lord Ram’s own differentiable persona.
According to the same insider, the star is excited for both his vocal and physical transformations since he has always tried bringing versatility in his filmography.
Ramayana is based on Sage Valmiki's book of the same name, and features Ranbir Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Yash, and Jahnvi Kapoor in pivotal roles.
Actors Sunny Deol and Vijay Sethupathi are currently in talks for cameos as per rumors.
Set to release in 2025, the production will seemingly go on floors soon, although no official announcement has been made yet.
