Madhuri Dixit is reportedly in talks for entering Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Yesterday, on February 12, Kartik Aaryan announced via Instagram that Vidya Balan is officially returning to the horror comedy franchise.
It has now been stated as per information obtained by Mid-Day that makers are approaching Madhuri next to complete their exceptional cast.
Their source said, “The team felt another spirit would add to the narrative, so it will be Rooh Baba versus the two ghosts played by Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan. By bringing two leading ladies together for the first time on screen, makers have played a trump card.”
The same insider added that the sequel is starting its shoot schedule next month, and as for the female lead who will play Kartik’s love interest, Sara Ali Khan is being considered.
This person however cautioned readers by warning that “nothing is confirmed yet,” leaving fans to only remain hopeful for now.
Talking about Akshay Kumar’s involvement in the instalment, director Anees Bazmee told Zoom that the star isn’t a part of this production.
He said, “I am eager to work with him, but regrettably, I haven't scripted a film where we could collaborate. In the future, certainly yes.”
