Yami Gautam shared heartwarming reaction over Cillian Murphy’s Best Actor Oscar award for his blockbuster hit film, Oppenheimer.
The Kaabil actress took to her X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday to express her joy over Cillian’s another milestone, who won the honour at the 96th Academy awards for playing the role of a nuclear physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan’s war drama.
“Having no belief in any of the current fake ‘filmy’ awards, since the last few years, I stopped attending them but today I am feeling really happy for an extraordinary actor who stands for patience, resilience & so many more emotions,” wrote the Ginny Weds Sunny actress.
She added of the Inception actor, "Watching him being honoured on the biggest global platform tells us that in the end, it’s your talent that stands the tallest above anything. Congratulations #CillianMurphy! #Oscar2024."
Cillian Murphy created history by becoming the first Irish-born actor to win the Oscar award for Oppenheimer.
On the work front, Yami Gautam was last seen in Article 370, which was released on February 23, 2024.
Meanwhile, Yami and her husband, Aditya Dhar, who tied the knot in 2021, are all set to welcome their first child very soon.
