Crew’s latest song, Ghagra, is out with promises of being a groovy party song.

Singers Romy and Srushti Tawade have joined hands with music artist Bharg Kale for its composition.

The video features a drunk Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon goofing around with each other as they shake some moves in a club buzzing with green and red lights.

One step in particular is a reminiscent of Ranbir Kapoor’s silly dance in Follow Me from Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

Moving on, there are glimpses of actors Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, and Rajesh Sharma, who will be seen making extended cameos in the upcoming flick.

In one scene, Tabu danced as money showered on her. In another, the lead trio was handed a sweet bundle of notes. In fact, the clip started with the text, “Money makes the world go round.”

While makers have successfully communicated that the theme is centered on cash, audiences say that the track has however failed to land as a true party anthem.

This is because it couldn’t recreate the pumping joy found in previously released music, such as Tumhi Ho Bandhu, Desi Girl, Crazy Kiya Re, or the recent Laal Peeli Akhiyaan.

On top of that, it is yet another one of Bollywood remakes, which was originally created by Ila Arun.

That version was released in 2010 and was titled Delhi Shahar Mein Maro Ghagro Jo Ghumyo.

It was a comical take on the rhapsodies of love, mixing modern and village lives together. Much like the song My Punjabi Love For You by Pakistani band Bumbu Sauce that came out one year later.

Not only this, Crew will have one more remake in its soundtrack, which will be the recreation of Choli Ke Peeche.
