Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk have joined hands to collaborate on a fresh production together.
The film has been titled Bad Newz, which can be seen as an unrelated chapter of the previously released 2019 hit, Good Newwz.
Karan Johar took this headline to his Instagram profile, excitedly writing, “Get ready for the most entertaining hungama – a hilarious once in a billion situation awaits… a comedy inspired by true events!”
With this, he announced that the release date has been officially set to July 19, 2024.
While Dharma Productions’ involvement has been confirmed through its owner’s post, it seems that Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films has been replaced by AA Films, which is a distribution company operating under Raveena Tandon’s husband, Anil Thadani.
Good Newwz featured Akshay alongside Kareena Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh.
It was based on two couple’s vitro fertilization being accidentally messed up.
The announcement snippet hints that the genre has been retained and that the next script will revolve around a pregnancy story as well, although this time, there seems to be a love triangle.
