Sajal Ali awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz on Pakistan Resolution Day

Sajal Ali claims Pakistan’s one of the prestigious accolades Tamgha-e-Imtiaz at Governer House, Lahore


Sajal Ali added another feather to her cap by wining Tamgh-e-Imtiaz for her performances in the entertainment industry.

The Mom actress received the highest civilian honour on Saturday, March 23, 2024, on account of Pakistan's Resolution Day at the Governor House Punjab, in Lahore.

In a video shared by multiple media outlets Sajal could be seen walking towards the stage to receive the honour after listening to her brief introduction.

The Alif actress gets the Tamgh-e-Imtiaz badge tucked on her sleeve and turns around to pose for the camera.

Sajal Ali was awarded with Tamgh-e-Imtiaz for her Zee5 web-series Dhoop Ki Deewar, in which she advocated for Pak-India peace amid ongoing tension in the region.

Tamgh-e-Imtiaz was awarded to Sajal Ali by the head of state to acknowledge her services in the field of acting.

In 2021 Sajal also won the FilmFare award for Outstanding Performance.

The Kuch Ankahi actress wore a long anarkali frock, featuring long sleeves in off-white color, embellished with silver sequins.

Shortly after Sajal won the civilian award, her sister Saboor took to her Instagram story to share a boomerang of the Khel Khel Mein actress, who was looking at the screen of her phone and smiling.
