The Russian court has charged four attackers suspected in the Moscow concert hall massacre with the 'act of terrorism' on Sunday, March 24.
The court has ordered pre-trial detention for all four suspects.
According to Sky News, the Russian authorities have remanded the suspects in custody until at least May 22 before facing trial.
The attackers Dalerdzhon Barotovich Mirzoyev, 32, Saidakrami Murodali Rachabalizoda, 30, Shamsidin Fariduni, 25, and Muhammadsobir Fayzov, 19, are from Tajikistan.
After being charged, two suspects, Mirzoyev and Rachabalizoda, admitted guilt.
The detainees appeared at the Basmanny district court. Four appear to have been beaten.
Fayzov was brought to the court in a wheelchair directly from the hospital in a hospital gown and trousers. The medical staff stayed with him in the court.
The other three were heavily bruised with swollen faces.
There were reports in Russian media that the suspects were tortured by the security services during the interrogation.
According to the BBC, the Islamic State (IS) group claimed responsibility for Friday’s attack at Crocus City Hall and has also posted video evidence.
The death toll has risen to 137, and at least 154 people have been injured during the outrage.
