King Charles, who has been an advocate for the climate change since he was 21, continues his struggles for the cause, even during his cancer battle.

The official Instagram account of the royal family shared a carousel of photos on Friday, featuring King Charles shaking hands with the Secretary-General of the Climate Vulnerable Forum, Mohamed Nasheed and new Ambassadors from Moldova and Burundi, who he met this week.

Alongside the photo was a brief description, which read, “This week, The King held a number of Audiences at Buckingham Palace.”

It further revealed, “On Wednesday, His Majesty welcomed His Excellency Mohamed Nasheed, Secretary-General of the Climate Vulnerable Forum. The forum brings together 58 of the countries most threatened by climate change - representing 1.4 billion people worldwide - to build cooperation, knowledge and awareness around environmental issues. Yesterday new Ambassadors from Moldova and Burundi presented their credentials to The King.”

The statement further explained “’Credentials’ are the diplomatic letter from the Ambassador’s Head of State confirming his or her appointment to their new post.”

To note, King Charles is seen actively engaged in royal engagements, since he has been diagnosed a cancer, following his enlarge prostate surgery in January, however, the 75-year-old is avoiding any public events.

The new update from the Buckingham palace comes over the heels of King Charles Maundy Thursday message, that was played at the service at Worcester Cathedral.
