Kate Middleton’s newly earned title of “the most popular royal” has reportedly spiked more worries for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
This is because the Princess of Wales’ worldwide reach has exposed how much power the couple has lost after their exit from the royal family.
Daniela Elser wrote on news.com.au: “In Kate becoming even more of a superpower has, in turn, only illuminated a coincidental, second thing: how increasingly marginalised and diminished the Sussexes seem in comparison.”
She explained that even though Meghan’s new Instagram profile has amassed over half a million followers, her previous Sussex royal account still has 9.2 million followers despite being not updated anymore.
The royal expert noted, “Disappointing thing is, the Sussexes are doing work that matters. That deep fake campaign reported by Axios? This is a serious issue that could have a significant impact on this year’s US presidential election.”
“Strange events that have rattled the Palace this year have only cemented Kate and Prince William as true figures of global consequence while Harry and Meghan have become stateless actors who slipped from news sections to entertainment pages,” she added.
