Shah Rukh Khan is all set to share the screen for the first time with his daughter, Suhana Khan, in an upcoming action-packed film, reportedly titled King.
Earlier, Pinkvilla informed that the Pathaan star was "collaborating for the first time on an action thriller" project with The Archies actress.
The upcoming movie will be directed by renowned filmmaker, Sujoy Ghosh, and will be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment alongside Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Entertainment.
Recently, an update shared by the same media outlet revealed that the production of the father-daugther's upcoming film is slated to begin in May and will span over five months with its premiere being planned for late 2025.
A source stated, "Sujoy is meticulously working on the script with Sid and SRK. Designing world-class action sequences rests fully on Siddharth."
According to the same person, training of action sequences is "happening at Mannat and Suhana is accompanied by her father too in certain practice sessions."
"Trainers of international repute are coming together to train Suhana and SRK as King will explore a slightly raw form of action," the insider added.
Shah Rukh was last seen in action thrillers Pathaan and Jawan, both of which rank among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.
On the other hand, Suhana made her acting debut with Netflix movie, The Archies, which was released on December 7, 2023.
