Taylor Swift teased the black-and-white promo for her song ' Fortnight '

Taylor Swift surprised fans by sharing a six-second teaser of the upcoming music video for her song Fortnight ,Four hours prior to the official release of her album The Tortured Poets Department.

Fortnight is the first single off her album, which will debut today on April 19. Later, the full music video for Fortnight will drop in the evening.


While sharing the short trailer on Instagram, Taylor wrote, “At this hearing, I stand before my fellow members of The Tortured Poets Department with a summary of my findings. Album tonight.”

The six-second teaser showcases a rapid montage of black-and-white clips from the song, depicting Swift and Post Malone in a bright white room, each at separate desks typing on typewriters.

Teaser also leads to some dramatic scenes as they share a hug and throw chairs before the clip finally cuts to Swift’s close-up with a smokey eye and her signature red lip.

The only striking colour in the video is a stream of pinks and yellows from the Midnights singer’s typewriter.

Swift previously announced Fortnight as the album's lead single in another Instagram post on Thursday, sharing a photo of the two of them as the promo.
