Kate Middleton and Prince William marked their 13th wedding anniversary on Monday with a sweet old photo of the couple.

The couple took to their joint Instagram account on Monday, April 29, and shared the update regarding their anniversary with a heartfelt caption that read, “13 years ago today!”

The black and white picture features Kate in a wedding gown with a veil adorning her head while she holds flowers.

Meanwhile, William is seen standing behind her in a military uniform, as they both smile at the camera.

According to sources, the couple are expected to have a private celebration of their anniversary amid Kate’s health woes.

Previously, Kate released an emotional video statement on March 15, revealing that she had been diagnosed with cancer.

In her statement, she said, “In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was noncancerous."

Kate further added, “The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present.”

Kate’s health news came amid King Charles’ own cancer diagnosis, which Buckingham Palace announced on February 5.

It is pertinent to note that the Prince and Princess of Wales exchanged wedding vows on April 29, 2011, in front of nearly 2,000 guests at Westminster Abbey.
