Kate Middleton and Prince William have reportedly decided not to see Prince Harry upon his next week’s return to the United Kingdom.

As informed by The Daily Beast, this is because they don’t want to fuel any stress as the Princess of Wales fights cancer.

Speaking to the media portal, a close friend of the royal couple said, “Both sides understand each other’s position clearly now.”

“They felt completely betrayed by Prince Harry’s memoir (Spare). They don’t speak to him or Meghan Markle, and they are certainly not about to start when Kate Middleton is at her most vulnerable.”

After news about Prince William’s wife being diagnosed with this life-threatening disease had been announced, the Duke of Sussex had released a statement saying that he had reached out to her privately.

Despite that, it’s expected that she has opted not to see each other in person.

Another friend, who was friends with the royal brothers but has lost touch with Megan Markle’s husband, suggested, “Prince Harry is just another person who sold his story to the papers.”

“Prince William and Kate Middleton have moved on. William respects his father’s wish to reconcile, but his focus now is on protecting his family from stressful situations,” they added.
