Duraid Qureshi, the CEO of Hum Network, has announced a sequel to Parizaad!
The blockbuster drama Parizaad that starred Ahmed Ali Akbar, Yumna Zaidi, Urwa Hocane and Nauman Ijaz in the lead roles has been roped in for a second season.
“Parizaad’s sequel will come with a very beautiful story next year,” Duraid revealed in a viral interview clip.
He continued, “It has been our philosophy that the content should be good, complete and not dragged.”
“In the first season no episode was dragged, no acting was dragged and that is what made it a blockbuster,” Duraid signed off.
Parizaad fans have a reason to rejoice as Momina Duraid’s husband revealed that the sequel is very much in the cards.
Soon after the update was shared, Ahmed Ali Akbar's fans flooded the internet expressing their excitement.
One fan in excitement penned, “Only waiting for Parizaad 2."
While another effused, “We cant wait.”
The drama serial Parizaad revolved around a dark skinned college student, who grew up with numerous confidence and self-esteem issues.
