Pakistan and India unveil new kit ahead of T20 World Cup 2024: Watch

The highly anticipated match between Pakistan and India will be played on June 9 in New York

Pakistan and India unveiled the new team kits on Monday ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup in the United States and West Indies.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed the national squad’s official kit for the world cup in a ceremony held in Lahore.

White ball skipper Babar Azam, alongside Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Rizawan and Naseem Shah, posed with the new ‘Matrix Jersy.’

Moreover, PCB also shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) featuring Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, Saim Ayub and other players in a new jersey for the upcoming International Cricket Council (ICC) event.

Along with that, the neighbour India has also shared a video of Team India’s new T20 jersey.

The biggest sportswear giant and Indian cricket team's official kit sponsor, Adidas, unveiled the new jersey ahead of the big cricket event, but it is yet to be seen whether the team will wear this shirt in the World Cup or not as officials did not mention that it is World Cup’s jersey.

However, the timing of the new kits indicates that Rohit Sharma and his team will wear the new jersey in the mega event.

The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will begin on June 2 in the United States; meanwhile, the cricket rivals Pakistan and India’s match is scheduled on June 9 in New York.
