King Charles reportedly met with the former football star David Beckham privately in a scathing blow to Prince Harry, who was refused to have a reunion with his father during his recent UK visit.
As reported by Inquisitr, the 75-year-old monarch, who could not make time for the Duke of the Sussex last week when he was in the UK for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, managed to have a meeting with Beckham at the same time.
This update comes shortly after King Charles’ close friend defended the monarch’s decision to not meet his son, noting, “Harry has made things very difficult for himself by saying such cruel and hurtful things about Camilla. Charles loves his sons, but he also loves his wife. The last few months have made it very clear how important she is; she has been the one propping up the whole edifice.”
He further noted, “Harry has made it very clear, very publicly, that he despises her. He has forced Charles to choose, which was a very silly thing to do because Camilla and he both chose each other a long time ago. William had his reservations but he accepted his father’s choice and got on with it. Harry made a different decision, and one of the inevitable consequences of publicly calling your stepmother cruel names is that it becomes difficult for you to see your father.”
For the unversed, a spokesperson on behalf of Harry made official announcement that there will be no meeting between the father-son duo due to Charles' busy schedule.
However, this speculated meeting between Charles and David seems to be a major snub to Harry.
