Prince Harry’s son, Archie, apparently knows and loves the idea of his grandad King Charles living in a castle and is desperate to visit, a royal expert has suggested.
Meghan and Harry stepped away from their royal life in 2020 and now reside in Montecito, where they are raising their kids, Archie and Lilibet.
However, as per royal expert Tom Quinn, Meghan may be worried about Archie’s royal lineage becoming a ‘longed for fantasy’ for him, and while Archie is ‘desperate’ to visit the UK, his mom and dad don’t seem to want it.
Quinn told Mirror UK: “Archie loves the idea that his grandad lives in a castle and Meghan was worried that a magnificent shepherd’s hut or similar extravagant present will only increase Archie’s growing interest in his royal connections.”
“She doesn’t want Britain to become a longed-for fantasy for her son so she had been pushing Harry to insist that his father gets Archie a simple present,” Quinn added.
The royal author went on: “King Charles hasn’t seen his grandson Archie since 2022 and Archie really misses him – many of Archie’s books are about kings, princesses and castles and he knows enough to know that his grandfather lives in a castle.”
“He (Archie) is apparently desperate to come to the UK with his father, but Meghan and Harry don’t want to encourage this.”
This comes just days after Archie celebrated his fifth birthday on May 6, a day before his dad Prince Harry flew to the UK for a short visit.
