Lucien Laviscount has set the records straight on persistent rumours linking him to the iconic James Bond franchise.

While conversing with hosts Ranvir Singh and Ed Balls, on the morning show, the Emily In Paris actor, who plays Alfie, Lily Collins' love interest in the Netflix series addressed Bond rumours and also revealed the details of his comeback in the upcoming season.

He said about the rumours, “Listen, if the Bond phone call came in, you don’t turn that down. That would be something pretty special I’m sure.”

Laviscount added, “I think it’s one of the most iconic British roles and I'd love to be in the mix for that!”

While sharing the details of his comeback in season 4 of Emily In Paris, he said, “I was in New York at the time and I got a phone call from my manager saying "Lucien, get yourself on tape, Darren Star wants to see you for Emily in Paris!”

Laviscount continued, “I was like right okay. Everything stopped, I dropped everything - my friend left the nail salon and she had tin foil on her nails. She came back, helped me do the tape, and the next day I was on a Zoom call with Lily and Darren.”

“I came in for the second season so I was the new kid at school for sure,” he stated.

Laviscount mentioned that he “had seen the success for the first season” and he “ really enjoyed the first.”

He shared after his call he “was packing my bags and off to Paris… It lives in this fantasy world of Paris and I love Paris,” adding, “I don’t think you can walk away from Emily In Paris feeling bad.”

To note, Emily In Paris is set to return for a fourth season as Lily announced: “Season four comes out this August 15 for part one. Part two drops on September 12, you're welcome.”
