After spending ten years as a midfielder for Real Madrid and the national Germany team, Toni Kroos shared the news of him bidding goodbye to football as an international player on Tuesday afternoon.
Responding in the comments section, Cristiano Ronaldo wrote, “Thank you for everything and for so much, Toni! What an honor to share the field with you. All the best for the future.”
This happens to be a surprising reaction for many since the now-retired athlete had criticized CR7 for some moves in the past when they used to score for Real Madrid together from 2014 to 2018.
