Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York,  stressed on the importance of family unity as Kate Middleton and King Charles grapple with cancer.

Ferguson was an attendee at the amfAR gala at the 2024 Cannes film festival where she addressed some queries regarding the concept of togetherness and support.

Talking with People’s Magazine at the event, Fergie said, “I think family unity is key.”

When asked if she had lent support to the royal family members during these challenging times Fergie stated, “I think the key to life is that we all support each other.”

“And also forgiveness is a great thing. I think forgiveness of yourself and forgiveness of others,” she further shared.

Earlier this year, Buckingham palace announced the sad news of the Princess of Wales’s cancer diagnosis and later revealed the news of King Charles.

After the rumor mills regarding the Princess of Kate’s absence from the royal fold circulated, the Duchess of Cambridge updated everyone on her health.

Sarah Ferguson too had been diagnosed with two different forms of cancer, one happened to be breast cancer while another was skin cancer.
