Sean 'Diddy' Combs will retain his Hollywood Walk of Fame star despite recent sexual assault allegations against him.
As per TMZ, a Hollywood Chamber of Commerce spokesperson said that “they have not discussed it and the org is powerless to make the star disappear.”
The Chamber added, “while it has the authority to nominate star recipients, manufacture and install stars upon city approval and conduct the Walk of Fame installation ceremony, it lacks the authority to remove them.”
Diddy has been facing 7 civil lawsuits of sexual assault and other misdeeds, along with a federal criminal investigation but his Hollywood Walk of Fame is “not going anywhere.”
The stars of other celebrities, such as Bill Cosby and Donald Trump, have been the subject of removal requests in the past.
Despite repeated vandalism, Trump's star has never been taken down.
Sean Diddy Combs strongly refuted the accusations, insisting that his accusers were driven by financial motives.
However, his denial was completely dismantled when the video released by CNN from 2016 of him brutally beating ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
To note, Diddy was hit with a recent lawsuit from April Lampros, who accuses him of battery and sexual assault from incidents in the mid-'90s.
