Mahira Khan has at last named a post on her Instagram profile to those afflicted in the Rafah city of Gaza.
On Monday, May 27, she floated three images, each showing a different side of the trauma endured by people living in the Palestinian strip.
Along with this, the actor offered words of stirring sympathy in trying to wake those who continue watching the extraordinarily distressing genocide in silence.
She exclaimed, “Burnt people alive!!! While they slept in tents, which were ‘safe zones’!!! Repeated bombings of refugees!!”
“What the hell kind of a world are we living in!! Who are these people who can see burnt decapitated babies and not be shaken to the core? This power hungry world has failed you,” Mahira Khan sighed.
While this is the first Instagram post coming from her concerning Rafah, she has been vocally involved in supporting Palestine publicly through the years.
These days, the star has been using Twitter and Instagram stories as her preferred mediums to communicate grievances, although just a while back, she was actively floating posts as well.
In 2017, Mahira Khan was named as the first Pakistani brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris, but she was extremely quick to part ways with the company in 2021 when Israel’s attacks on Palestine started worsening.
She has however become a slimy target for critics, even though equally high-profile celebrities, such as Fawad Khan, remain fully hushed on the matter.
