Kim Kardashian has refused to let the “nepotism backlash” over daughter North West’s recent acting debut bring them down.

Despite countless trolls criticizing her child for earning a free spot at Hollywood Bowl’s Lion King concert last Friday, she didn’t hold back from sharing more glimpses of the same.

On Tuesday, May 28, the model uploaded different snapshots of North West dressed up as Young Simba.

But the catch here is that she wasn’t wearing the costume that was worn on the stage on her debut day.

The mother-daughter duo instead chose a much-furrier yellow outfit, and according to Kim Kardashian’s lion emoji caption, North West was still portraying the famous character in those photographs.

This alone triggered many people to restart the slamming war.

One commentator wrote, “This is not even the same costume,” whereas another said, “Idk, it gives more of big bird to me than Simba.”

“I understand singing is her passion, but it’s definitely not her talent,” someone declared.

An individual questioned, “Nepotism at its finest. Was her school not having a play or something…?”

During her performance at the Hollywood Bowl, North West received a standing ovation for singing I Just Can’t Wait to Be King.

Many people however think that someone more deserving should’ve landed that opportunity as she got the part through Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s combined influence, as revealed by Daily Mail.
