Meghan Markle has been strictly condemned by Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, just a few weeks after her successful visit to the country.

As informed by New York Post, the senator has given a stern warning to Nigerians, which is not to “lose yourself in trying to emulate American celebrities.”

She declared, “We have to salvage our children. We see the way they dress. We are not having the Met Gala. Everyone… the nakedness is just everywhere!”

“Tell them, we don’t accept nakedness in our culture. That is not beautiful. It’s not beautiful at all,” President Bola Tinubu’s wife added.

Her serious message unfolded in Abuja, where she was present to deliver a speech in honor of the first anniversary of her husband’s government run in office.

While telling both teenagers and adults to dress modestly at all times, Oluremi Tinubu suddenly referenced Meghan Markle’s trip to Nigeria.

“Why did Meghan Markle come here looking for Africa? That is something we have to take home. We know who we are. Don’t lose who you are,” she reminded.

This was seemingly a jibe at the backless dress that the Duchess of Sussex was adorned in during her visit with Prince Harry.
