Prince George is celebrating his birthday today, on July 22. And for a portrait of this special occasion, he reportedly wore a gift from sister Princes Charlotte.
Taken by mum Kate Middleton, the 11-year-old had slid into a dark suit to pose for the picture in question.
But royal fans quickly eagle-eyed the playful addition of a friendship bracelet hanging loosely on his left wrist.
What’s really cool is that King Charles has also been observed decking out with the very same string during some recent royal engagements.
Just at Your Majesty’s last week’s visit to Guernsey alongside Queen Camilla, the friendship band was clearly gleaming through the cuff of his inner shirt.
Zooming in, it can be noted to be made of yellow and red threads sewn together.
The bracelet was also worn by Princess Charlotte when she joined Kate Middleton for an appearance at the Wimbledon Men’s Single Finale last weekend.
In fact, according to Daily Mail, these friendship bands have been gifted to King Charles as well as brothers Prince George and Prince Louis by her only.
These wearables have come back in fashion because of being branded at Eras Tour by Taylor Swift, who Princess Charlotte reportedly idolizes.
