The heir to the crown Prince William has expressed his thoughts on taking on new patronages and responsibilities shortly after stepping down as England’s Football Association president.

William, who served as the president of FA since 2006 took to Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Instagram account on Wednesday to share a captivating video to announce his association with one of UK’s biggest organizations.

“An honour for The Prince of Wales to take on new patronages and responsibilities with some incredible organisations,” wrote the future king in his statement.

“Looking forward to supporting their vital work and making a difference together!” he added.

Kensington Palace confirmed William’s appointments as Patron of the Welsh Guards Charity and the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association, as well as President of the Victoria Cross and George Cross Association.

Soon after the post was shared fans flooded the comments section with words of affirmation and congratulations for the prince.

“I’m sure you will be a wonderful Patron and will do great things with these organizations! Congratulations,” one user commented.
