WhatsApp is set to enhance its user experience with a significant upgrade in artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities through new features from Meta AI.

The update, announced in a blog post by WhatsApp, includes expanded language support and innovative image generation tools.

Imagine Me feature: AI-generated personal images

WhatsApp users will soon be able to enjoy the "Imagine Me" feature, which allows them to create AI-generated images of themselves in various settings and styles.

For example, users can generate images of themselves hiking in the mountains or as a futuristic robot.

This feature, currently in beta, will initially be available only in the US, with plans to expand to other countries.

Imagine Edit: Customizing AI-generated images

This new feature allows users to modify AI-generated images by adding, removing, or changing elements like objects and backgrounds.

For Example, after creating an image of a person at a zoo, users can switch the scene to a mountain landscape or change the person’s accessories while maintaining other aspects of the image. This feature will be rolled out globally.
