Jennifer Lopez is adding an extra dose of “happy” to her happy birthday celebration!
The Shotgun Wedding actress, who turned 55 on July 24, was joined by her longtime pal, singer, and vocal coach, Stevie Mackey, where the duo recorded a special rendition of Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand’s classic mashup Happy Days are Here Again.
Taking to her Instagram handle on Thursday, July 25, the Atlas actress posted the video, showcasing a brief but mesmerizing performance with her voice coach friend.
“Here’s to a new and HAPPY year around the sun… Late birthday nights with @steviemackey,” penned the actress in the caption.
Sitting with Mackey on a large couch, the Grammy-nominated actress dazzled in a sheer dress and dangling earrings with her hair tied into a sleek ponytail. Lopez went minimal with the makeup.
In the video, the Marry Me actress mesmerized the fans by singing lines from Happy Days are Here Again while her friend, Mackey, took charge of the "Get Happy" segment.
“Forget your troubles, come on, get happy,” sang Mackey to kick off the rendition, which Lopez continued with “Happy days are here again, the skies above are clear again.”
“Such an angelic voice; I love hearing you sing,” one of the fans dropped his view.
Another penned, “Wishing you many happy days!”
Earlier in the day, the Mother actress shared some snaps from her at-home celebration that featured Lopez in a blue silk pajama set.
The photos also highlighted a beautifully decorated blue cake and a vibrant bouquet of flowers.
