Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall are preparing to celebrate a significant milestone in their relationship.

Her anniversary came over the heels of Zara's recent exclusion from a high-profile ongoing sports event as did not appear at the official Olympic reception held at Buckingham Palace to honor the British athletes.

Princess Anne’s daughter and her husband celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on July 30, 2011.

Three months after Zara's cousin Prince William's royal wedding to Princess Kate, the couple tied the knot at Edinburgh's Canongate Kirk.

The 43-year-old Zara made several unique references to Queen Elizabeth II, including her wedding banquet and her poignant bridal gown.

The bride wore an ivory silk dress from one of her grandmother Queen Elizabeth II's favourite designers, Stewart Parvin, to the wedding.

Paul Thomas, a florist in Mayfair, created the bouquet, and Zara added Jimmy Choo pumps and a silk tulle veil.

The couple are now parents to three children, Mia, 10, Lena, six, and Lucas, three.

At Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park estate, Mike and Zara will be commemorating their wedding anniversary at Aston Farm.

After being engaged in 2010, Mike made the decision to create his own engagement ring for his future wife instead of selecting a family heirloom.

The stunning piece of jewellery has a split platinum ring with a single solitaire diamond in the centre surrounded by pavé diamonds.
