Simone Biles is en route to making history at the 2024 Olympic Games

Beyoncé sent a special tribute to Simone Biles’ inspiring journey before winning gold at the women's artistic gymnastics all-around final on Thursday, August 1.

For NBC, the Halo singer proudly lent her voice to narrate a movie that followed Biles' journey to the 2024 Olympic Games.

Beyoncé kicked off the video by performing the first verse of her Cowboy Carter song JUST FOR FUN, which features Willie Jones.

"Let's talk about power because, really, that's what this story is about," the Grammys winner voiceover started alongside footage of Biles, 27, competing on screen.

She continued, "Physical power, its beauty, its wonder, the way it never stops amazing you. Then there's spiritual power, the kind that really matters. The power you can't see, only sense. The power you need in those moments when life goes a little sideways on you."

A video of Biles throughout several sessions starts to play and the CUFF IT singer noted, “And, of course, lasting power. Only a select few know what it feels like to get to the top and stay there and somehow keep getting better."

"Simone Biles inspires me, and I'm pretty sure she inspires you, too. Such confidence in her strength, such beauty in her power, such a great lesson in her story," Beyoncé continued.

She concluded, “Brilliance, it doesn't come easy. Gold can be a hell of a journey, and the greatest of all time is willing to put that title on the line every time she walks out there. Take your best shot world. She's ready for you."

Along with winning a gold medal in the women's team final alongside teammates Jade Carey, Sunisa "Suni" Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera, Biles is en route to making history at the 2024 Olympic Games.

After the victory, Biles was formally crowned the most decorated American gymnast in the history of the Olympics.
