Prince Harry, Meghan Markle set to take ‘dangerous’ risk after King Charles snub

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex receive big warning ahead of Columbia tour

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are seemingly putting their lives on stake by taking a huge risk after King Charles’ snub.

As the Sussexes are gearing to embark on their tour to Columbia, they have raised security concerns among the royal protection circles.

Speaking to the Mail, a royal protection officer, has shared his two cents on the risk involved in the duke and duchess’ visit to the "most dangerous country in the world".

The former protection officer who has served Harry's family for several years, told the publication, "They have chosen to visit one, if not the most, dangerous countries in the world. But nothing amazes me [with Harry and Meghan] these days."

Meanwhile, the UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office also "advises against all but essential travel to parts of Colombia".

In addition to this, the US Department of State has also issued a travel advisory for Columbia, in which they noted, “Reconsider travel due to crime and terrorism. Exercise increased caution due to civil unrest and kidnapping.”

This update comes shortly after it was announced on Thursday that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will head to Colombia on an undisclosed date later this year.
