King Charles reportedly shares a “close bond” with Donald Trump’s wife Melania Trump despite the two going at loggerheads in the past.
Your Majesty became pen pals with the democrat’s spouse after they built a friendly connection by bonding over positive environmental discussions.
Menalia Trump wrote about striking up good rapport with King Charles when they sat together at an official 2019 dinner.
Per Independent, she wrote, “The evening’s state banquet was a formal and elegant affair. I was seated next to King Charles, and it was an absolute pleasure to reconnect with him.”
“Our paths had crossed many years ago in New York City. This time, we engaged in an interesting conversation about his deep-rooted commitment to environmental conservation,” the former first lady added.
Donald Trump had previously infuriated King Charles by publicly blaming Kate Middleton in a big scandal that involved a photographer capturing pictures of her as she sunbathed in a private French château.
But much before this, the politician had allegedly pounded some sort of rivalry with Your Majesty when he “aggressively pursued Princess Diana after her divorce.”
In The King: The Life of Charles III, author Christopher Andersen mentioned that Donald Trump claimed on a radio program of “nailing Princess Diana if he wanted to, but only if she passed an HIV test.”
Hitting up a close bond with Menalia Trump is possibly Your Majesty’s way of getting back at Donald Trump for what he said about his former wife, according to many royal experts.
