Anne Hathaway apologizes to reporter for 'awful' 2012 interview

A journalist Kjersti Flaa recently resurfaced her 2012’s 'awful' interview with Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway once again proved that why she is people favorite!

Recently, a Norwegian entertainment journalist Kjersti Flaa resurfaced an edited part from her 2012’s “awful” interview with Hathaway during Les Misérables press tour.

Flaa expressed that she felt The Idea of You actress “hated” her and called that interview "top-notch cringe.”

However, on October 8, Hathaway sent an email to Flaa through her publicist, for a "very personal note" apologizing for her behavior.

"Yesterday I did receive an email. It was from Anne Hathaway's publicist, and he forwarded a message to me from Anne Hathaway. I have to say, I was pretty shocked," Flaa revealed in a YouTube video.

She continued, "I had not expected her to reach out to me at all. I thought she was never gonna even see that video, but she did. And she did something pretty amazing."

"She sent me a long email explaining to me what she was going through right then when she did this interview, and she apologized for being… giving me an awful interview, basically. It was so touching to me," Flaa added.

The journalist also revealed that Anne Hathaway has invited her for an interview for her next movie, releasing in May.

To note, Kjersti Flaa is the same journalist who resurfaced a video Blake Lively from 2016’s interview which she called "the most uncomfortable interview situation I have ever experienced.”
