Taylor Swift has stepped forward to help the Hurricanes Helene and Milton victims as she donated a generous amount of $5 million to them.

The non-profit organisation Feeding America took the social media account to release a statement from CEO Babineaux-Fontenot confirming Swift’s “generous donation.”

“We’re incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift for her generous $5 million donation to Hurricanes Helene and Milton relief efforts,” the post stated.

It added, “This contribution will help communities rebuild and recover, providing essential food, clean water, and supplies to people affected by these devastating storms. Together, we can make a real impact in supporting families as they navigate the challenges ahead.”

Expressing gratitude for Swift, the statement concluded, “Thank you, Taylor, for standing with us in the movement to end hunger and for helping communities in need.”


Notably, the donation came amid Florida was hit with a Category 3 storm, named Hurricane Milton, after weakening from a Category 5 storm on Wednesday morning and subsequently it was reduced to Category 2

United States President Joe Biden gave a warning, saying it is expected to be “most and worst destructive hurricanes to hit Florida in over a century”.
