Duchess Sophie found a new way to cope with an upsetting decision made by King Charles regarding her royal duties.
Prince Edward's life partner visited Windsor Great Park on Tuesday, April 8, for an afternoon of gun dog demonstration where she reportedly found a new addition to her family.
Telegraph reported that Sophie, who is a patron of the Yellow Labrador Club, attended one of the Club's training sessions and learned about the breed of dogs from the management of the organisation.
The club's Secretary, Sussie Wiles, disclosed that the 60-year-old British Royal Family member was so taken by dogs that "we had to watch carefully that she didn’t sneak one in her pocket."
"She was very taken with a fox-red, nine-week-old puppy. That one was heading for her handbag," the honourary club member stated.
However, it is unclear whether the duchess has adopted any pet from the club.
This recent appearance of Sophie came after a report suggested that one of the royal experts, Phil Dampier, claimed that King Charles III should grant more access to the duchess and her husband, Prince Edward, in royal duties rather than offering them side jobs.
"There should be an opportunity for Sophie to be allowed to do more," the insider revealed.
For those unaware, after the death of the monarch's father Prince Phillip, who previously possessed the title of Duke of Edinburgh, the king decided to provide the same title to his younger sibling and his wife.
He also granted Prince Edward's past title, Earl of Wessex, to his son, James, 17.
Neither Duchess Sophie nor Prince Edward has broken their silence on the most recent decision made by King Charles.
