Kurulus Osman: Will Osman be able to do justice to both his wives, Bala and Malhun

Osman Bey- marries for the second time

Kurulus Osman: Will Osman be able to do justice to both his wives, Bala and Malhun

Turkish series Kurulus Osman took a new turn as the leader of the Kayi tribe Osman bey marries Malhun Hatun, and the concern is whether Osman’s first love, Bala, will lose importance in his life.

Osman Bey is the youngest son of Ertugrul Ghazi (father of the Ottoman Empire) and Halime Sultan.

The founder of the Ottoman Empire, Osman, was brave and shrewd, and kept abreast in his tasks due to his unfailing wit and support from his loyal soldiers (Alps). He conquered numerous castles and cities, defeated deadly enemies and left a lasting legacy for the state.

Bala Hatun is Osman’s love interest and the light of his tent. However, she was unable to give Osman an heir due to a sword wound which made her infertile. However, for the sake of an heir to the state, the reunion of two tribes and to fulfil his father, Ertugrul’s will, Osman marries again, which is doubtless a marriage of convenience.

In the previous episode, it was showcased that Malhun Hatun is pregnant with Osman’s child. Fans wonder if Bala will lose her importance in Osman’s life after he receives the much-awaited news from Malhun.

Bala Hatun will always remain Osman’s first love and the head Hatun of the tribe. She supported Osman in the decision of his second marriage to Malhun, as being the daughter of the spiritual leader, Edebali, she understood the wisdom behind the sacrifice required of her.

Fans are criticizing Osman for his second marriage to Malhun, but for the state not to perish it was vital for Osman to have an heir who would become the future ruler of the state being established.

As yet it is unclear whether Orhan Ghazi, the Sultan after Osman’s death, is Malhun’s child or Bala’s.

The next episode which marks the season’s finale is expected to have a series of twists and turns, laced with betrayal.
